A movement to improve literacy rates in developing countries such as Chad will help to solve the issue of low life expectancy and will aid in creating a middle class in less fortunate nations. An expansion of the international middle class will increase economic growth and social change, thus it is an issue of global concern currently as it inhibits this type of growth.
